WCC Listserv

The WCC Listserv is one of the major ways that WCC’s leadership, members, and community stay in touch with each other. Its main purpose is connectivity and sharing resources. Originally an email listserv, it is now run through our membership management system, and only current members in good standing will receive announcements.

Please read below to learn more and to find out how to post. If you would like to receive WCC listserv announcements, please join/renew your membership.

Goals

  • Communicating about the WCC’s work and initiatives with its membership

  • Circulating job advertisements to the membership

  • Circulating other opportunities (e.g. CFPs) to the membership

  • Advertising events, surveys, petitions that are related to the mission of the WCC among the membership

Procedures

  • Posts can be sent in the body of an email (no attachments, please) to the WCC Listserv Manager, Melissa Funke.

  • Posts are then forwarded to current members, usually within two business days.

  • If there is concern over a post, the Steering Committee is consulted before circulating and there may be a delay. The WCC reserves the right not to post messages that do not fit with our mission. Additionally, circulation of messages or statements by other groups does not imply endorsement of the content by the WCC organization, unless explicitly stated.
